New Pictures

We just got back from a nice 2 week visit to Utah it was so nice to see family and friends. While we were there Sarah from SG Photography took Tylers 1 year pictures and they turned out so good as always! So we are back in FT Irwin and still looking and waiting to hear back on a few jobs I hope to hear something soon Im going stir crazy!

Tylers 1st Birthday

Tyler turned the big 1 year old on September 21! I cant believe he is already one! He is a very busy boy he keeps me on my toes! For his birthday my mom,sister and the boys drove to Las Vegas and we met them there what a spoiled boy party in Vegas and hes only 1! We saw all the sights visited the shark aquarium and he loved that stayed for hours. We had so much fun and I was so happy to be able to spend it with my family! Justin couldn't be there since he was on rotation so when we got back we went out to dinner with some friends and had a little party and cake for him! I'm not sure what I will do next year to top this birthday! I hope everybody is well miss you all!!

Moving to Fort Irwin

Well this post is a little late but Im finally here and settled in Fort Irwin which is a very interesting place to say the least! But we are getting use to being here heat and all! Finally met some friends which helps because Justin only gets to come home a couple times a week for a few hours! We got a pretty nice two bedroom townhouse here on post it has lots of space and Tyler has his own room which is very nice! We miss our family and friends so much I get very homesick at times. But I know they are always there for us and only a twelve hour drive away! Soon the holidays will be here and we will get to be together! Im trying to find a job here on post put a few applications in so we will see what happens! Tyler is walking so well now so he is keeping me very busy! He learned to say papa so thats his new favorite word! We just celebrated his first birthday which was spent in Vegas with my family!! More to come on that in another post! Hope everybody is well!

9 months

I had Tyler's 9 month pictures taken last week by my amazing friend Sarah they always turn out so amazing! I just can't believe how fast the past 9 months has gone! He looks so grown up he still amazes me everyday! So here is a sneak peek of the pictures!!

My Little Monkey!

I just love this picture of Tyler he is so cute and getting so big! He is climbing on everything and has finally started to crawl! Now I'm in trouble he is quick! He will be nine months next week and everyday he amazes me.

Bridal Shower

Yesterday I gave a bridal shower for my best friend Ashley. It turned out so cute and I was so excited to do this for her. She will be getting married July 30 which is such a happy occasion but I cant help feeling sad at the same time as I am moving the next day to California I'm so happy for her I just know this is going to be so hard. I am going to miss her so much she is the best friend anybody could ever ask for. I am so lucky that I found her! Every time we talk about moving one of us starts to cry! Lol! She is the most amazing person I know! Did I mention how much I'm going to miss her?? I will post pictures of the shower later Im suprised in turned out as cute as it did for my lack of creativity I did pretty well.

Helmet

We got hopeful news yesterday when we went to get Tyler's helmet adjusted they said his head was looking really good and they thought he should be able to have it off June 1st when we go back to Primary's for our check up with the Doctors! I am so hoping that he can have it off. I think it has been harder for me than him! I just can't believe people anytime we take him out people stare and say the rudest things! I guess some people just don't think before they open their mouth. I had one lady stop us and say what a cute baby but he has that ugly helmet on?! REALLY?! For those of you who don't know Tyler had to have this helmet to fix the shape of his head. It is called plagiocephaly which basically means a funny shaped head. They said he's was severe and he might have to wear this helmet for up to 6 months and its only been 3 so I am hopeful he can have this off soon!! The pictures are from when they were fitting him for the helmet which he looked like a little pilgrim! I love that pic! He tolerates the helmet well but it pushes down on his eyebrows so it looks like he has a scowl on his face all the time!
